FLIC Festival – Festival of Children’s and Youth Literature and Arts – Barcelona, 2024

FLIC Festival is an annual celebration of literature and the arts designed for children and young people. Held in Barcelona, the 2024 edition continues to foster creativity, imagination, and critical thinking through books, illustration, performance, and multimedia experiences.

This year’s visual identity takes a bold turn, engaging with the theme of censorship. Through illustration, the festival explores how stories are silenced, voices are erased, and images are altered—inviting audiences to reflect on the importance of freedom of expression in literature and the arts. It challenges us to consider: what happens when what we read, see, or say is restricted?
